Personality

From a young age, Riley was groomed to take on a high level of responsibility. The Dragonvale is one of the oldest seats of power in Astvion and even before his father died, Riley knew he would inherit it one day. Calm and collected, Riley keeps his head in the most infuriating of situations even when it would be easier to let his temper get the better of him. He is fiercely protective of his two younger siblings, and will do anything in his power to keep them safe. While he enjoys life at court, he often misses the isolation of the lofty Dragonvale, where he could disappear for hours undisturbed. At court, there always seems to be someone hassling him for something. At heart, Riley is an introvert and needs time to himself to process things. 

Backstory

Riley was born the eldest son of Ryne Hightower and Genna Lancaster. He has two younger siblings, Treyvn and Ellena. As a child, Riley was obsessed with books and learning. He spent hours in the library of the Dragonvale reading everything that he could get his hands on.
